Job Description
An integral part of the Norway Leadership Team, this role will be required to lead and have full oversight of the Finance function for the Avery Dennison Norway unit and to ensure that there is alignment with the divisional goals. To partner with the local Business Unit Head to ensure goals and objectives are met and to lead the annual operation plan and monthly forecasting processes for the region.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Activities and duties will vary depending upon the functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
To be a business partner to the senior leadership and take a proactive and lead role in the activities of the business unit.
Oversight of the monthly close process for the Norway site liaising closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate monthly closes and monthly flash reporting for the site.
Lead the month end financial reviews for the Norway unit.
Responsible for the review of the cluster’s savings tracker and execution of remediation actions for any below target performance.
Coordinating the production and analysis of the various weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements including but not limited to capital, financial metrics, inventory adjustment and headcount reconciliation reporting for the site.
To have financial oversight of all capital projects for the site.
Facilitate VAT on import for Materials group’s shipments to Norwegian customers.
Lead and coordinate the annual operating plan process for the Norway unit in coordination with EMEA requirements.
Provide leadership and coordination for the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet forecasting process.
Providing coaching and support to the finance in Norway to achieve their performance objectives.
Manage the performance of each direct report.
Assist the Controlling group in support of the various Divisional Controllership programs.
Support the Strategic Planning Process in providing financial support to the divisional FP&A group as required.
Qualifications
Professional Accounting Qualification/MBA
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial roles with a mix of Controllership and business partnering
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Fluency in English and Norwegian.

Knowledge of ERP systems (Visma, Peoplesoft, Oracle, Hyperion)
