Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This individual will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will help optimize business operations, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives. This person will bring a strong understanding of data in a manufacturing context and be able to tie together data sets from engineering, supply chain, and operations (manufacturing).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, estimating, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, design) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and implement data collection strategies from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy,
- Utilize statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities for business improvement and growth.
- Support Supply Chain with material planning analysis to translate a BOM requirements into a material resource plan
- Develop and present reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting systems to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a business analytics role with demonstrated experience building data sets and delivering insights
- Experience in a multi-site manufacturing business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding and ability to build data warehouse preferred (e.g., Microsoft Fusion)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Information
The Salary Range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 annual base salary + annual performance bonus. We also off the following benefits:
