Job Description
Provide project management to corporate projects and strategic initiatives throughout the organization to ensure projects and resources stay on track and deliver projects on time and within budget, and benefits are realized. This includes but is not limited to communication to stakeholders, employees, and direct on-site involvement in the projects. Provide oversight and direction on Facilities projects, tickets, and ad hoc requests; ensuring that the quality of any third-party providers meets our standards and that projects and changes are managed to budget.
Differentiating Accountabilities:
- Develop, implement and mature project management methodologies within the organization.
- Manage project portfolios to ensure desired outcomes are achieved for larger and/or strategic initiatives
- Effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexity within set timelines and budget, including:
- Identify and report on risks and issues that may delay successful completion of project within timelines and budget.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and critical path.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with SLT and stakeholders.
- Draft budget proposals, recommend any changes and track actual spend and forecasted spend.
- Provide on-going reporting relating to project status, risks, timelines and project KPIs.
- Conduct post project reviews and develop project summary documents.
- Understand skills required for projects and work with business partners to acquire appropriate resources to accomplish tasks.
- Lead and develop capacity planning processes and discussions. Ensure stakeholders are aware of capacity requirements for projects throughout the year
- Manage vendor relationships related to projects and facilities.
- Lead and deliver on an RFP process to acquire new vendors as needed.
- Chair and facilitate meetings for corporate strategic initiatives and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Project management of crisis situations as they arise to support the needs of the business.
- Manage facilities projects, tickets, and ad hoc requests to ensure that all locations meet the standards set.
- Build and manage the facilities budget, reporting on variances on a quarterly basis.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Project Management processes and methodologies; PMP certification required or in progress, or equivalent work experience in managing projects successfully
- Superb communication skills (verbal and written); Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Experience with project tools like MS Project, Excel, Visio, Monday.com, etc.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
