Job Description

So, what do we expect of our Video Editor? Your adventure with us would include quests like:

  • Creating video assets (trailers, clips, gifs and more!), that will make people excited about our games.

  • Recording game footage for trailers.

  • Cooperating with a Brand Manager, Marketing Producer, Head of Marketing, and Social Media Teams to create assets that communicate and achieve campaign goals.

  • Cooperate with our devs in terms of asset creation.

  • Produce video content that harmonizes artistically with existing promotional materials, crafting unconventional video formats to captivate fans.

  • Assist the marketing producer in establishing a streamlined and effective production process for all assets. Clearly communicate requirements and timelines for each stage of video production.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to translate briefs into scripts and then - videos.

Optional side quests include:

  • Playing and providing feedback to our games in development and in evaluation.

  • Everything not listed above that you will find attractive to do in the marketing area.

  • Contributing to team decisions, brainstorms, and social meetings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in editing and motion graphic skills (preferably in the video game industry)

  • Strong experience with digital marketing and video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects),

  • Basic experience in using game engines: Unity/Unreal

  • Proficiency in compositing and implementing special effects.

  • Background in filmmaking encompassing staging, pacing, and crafting engaging scenes.

  • Strategic mindset: effectively plan tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Attention to the details.

  • Strong communication abilities and adeptness in collaborating with team members.

  • Good organization and time management ability.

  • Being a gamer passionate about video games.

  • Having a strong command of English both written and spoken (Polish is not required - we’ll even teach you all the good swears words to make you feel included).
