Job Description

The IaaS Product team (Infrastructure as a Service) delivers secure, highly available infrastructure including Windows, Unix, VMware, Cloud IaaS and PaaS, Server and Storage. In this role, you’ll be providing great customer service, working in a team that builds tools and platforms for the delivery of Windows Servers services both onsite and shortly in the cloud. 

The position's primary focus is project work for upgrades of Windows servers and applications. Opportunities for development and learning other aspects of the teams work will be provided. To be successful in the role you will

What we can offer
This is a full-time position for a fixed-term of two years, primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $96,669 - $104,731 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total package will be in the range $113,103 - $122,535 per annum.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced versatile, motivated IT professional with relevant qualifications and a background in in supporting Windows Servers and Active Directory with a strong design to continue to learn 

Preferred technical skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience supporting a large enterprise Microsoft Windows environment
  • Demonstrated experience using SCCM, SCOM, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Programming and scripting skills applied to automation and solution development, including PowerShell desirable 
  • Experience with cloud-based deployments and support (e.g., Azure, AWS) well regarded
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment well regarded
  • Software Development and /or DevOps skills well regarded
  • Availability to participate on the Windows on-call roster (Rostering once every 4-5 weeks) essential
