Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive located in San Francisco to lead our sales efforts, focusing on building and expanding relationships with new vendors for Sagetap. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise software sales with B2B SaaS startups and the ability to drive the end-to-end sales process.

While this is a remote position, we are looking for someone located in San Francisco who can regularly meet up and attend events in the area. The Sagetap team is distributed across the US, and primarily works PST time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • New Vendor Acquisition:
    • Proactively identify and engage with new vendors within Sagetap's target categories.
    • Address vendor requests from Sages, working towards onboarding them onto the Sagetap platform.
  • Sales Meetings and Demos:
    • Conduct high-impact meetings with key stakeholders, including founders, CMOs, and Sales Leaders, showcasing the value proposition of Sagetap.
    • Demonstrate Sagetap's features and benefits, articulating how the platform meets the specific needs of potential vendors.
  • Deal Closing:
    • Own and drive the end-to-end sales process, navigating through negotiations, objections, and challenges to successfully close deals.
  • Sales Strategy and Scaling:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals.
    • Build scalable sales processes and leverage tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams.
    • Provide valuable insights by circulating customer questions, objections, and product requests to support the development of Sagetap's roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of proven quota-carrying experience in enterprise software sales for startups.
  • Track record of success in building and managing a sales pipeline, running meetings, and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with B2B software landscape and a passion for driving innovation in the industry.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
