Treasury is responsible for the financing and banking related activities of the H&M Group including cash management, foreign exchange, financial risks management and corporate finance. Treasury Operations plays an instrumental part in H&M’s Treasury function, responsible for securing the Treasury operational activities and settlement of financial transactions of the whole H&M Group. On top of managing the daily operations, a key delivery within the team is a constant focus on improvements within treasury. You will have the opportunity of a wider learning experience in a global treasury function, learn about how all the different cash flows are managed in an international organization and gain understanding of the different set ups within H&M.

Job Description

As a Treasury Operations Specialist you will work together with 16 colleagues in the Treasury function, and you’ll be based in Stockholm at H&M Group’s office in Marievik. The Treasury Operations team consists of 7 colleagues today.

What You will Do:

  • Short term liquidity management including FX swaps, deposits, and short-term loans
  • Internal and external payments for treasury and other companies within the H&M group
  • Monitor and administrate the group’s currency accounts and cash pools
  • Book and reconcile financial transactions
  • Administrate the monthly group netting of intercompany balances
  • Develop administrative processes and routines within treasury
  • Generate weekly and monthly liquidity reports

You Should Have:

  • A university degree within business or finance and/ or equivalent experience from similar positions within Treasury or banks with a minimum of 3 years.
  • A strong interest in the financial markets and how they work
  • Good skills in Excel and MS office
  • Fluency in English both writing and speaking, as we operate in a global context
  • SAP experience is meritorious

This is a permanent position based in Stockholm, Sweden.
