The Communication roles in Range all contribute to the assignment: to lead, develop and enable impactful communication that strengthens the IKEA brand by creating engagement, building trust for IKEA and enabling better business.

We are looking for a Communication Partner

As Communication Partner, you support the leadership of several Range Areas in achieving their business and people objectives through communication. You secure communication flows within and across units, ensure a strong connection between stakeholders and enable strong co-worker engagement.

An important part of the job is to operate the internal communication landscape within and across units, securing common guidelines and an overall core business approach. You contribute to the overall communication plan by representing the business and contributing with inspiring content and create engagement by putting product and people at the center of communication.

In the role you also support and enable change through communication and provide communication expertise to develop communication skills in the unit. You may also lead various projects and topics across units.

You will report to a Communication Manager in the business.

The Communication Leader: 

  • Is passionate about communication as a business enabler and tactical tool to lead business and people. A good understanding of working with communication planning and execution with an understanding of how communication supports and increases the impact of a business agenda
  • has a strong receiver-oriented approach and experience in working with stakeholder mapping and segmentation, creating target group-specific communication
  • has the experience and ability to turn complex topics into simple, straightforward and inspiring communication
  • is hands-on, structured and service-minded, with ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Is curious and solution-oriented, with ability to create engagement and build trustful relationships with various stakeholders and a strong team player.
  • has great working knowledge of the IKEA identity, tone of voice and an ambassador of IKEA culture and values

 

This is a permanent role based in Älmhult.

Position is in Älmhult (Sweden) and reports to the Digital Transformation Team Manager at Core Business Range.
