We do this by developing and enabling impactful communication that builds trust in the IKEA Supply chain and the IKEA Brand. We create proactive and transparent communication initiatives delivering to our business and people priorities, we strengthen our many leaders and co-workers to lead with communication, and we engage with stakeholders to create dialogue and engagement.

We are now looking for a Communication Operations Manager, with the ability to lead day-to-day communication operations by leading business and people together

As Communication Operations Manager for IKEA Supply you will co-lead the communication assignment together with the Communication Manager, being responsible to develop and execute the operational communication plan, aligned with stakeholders to ensure consistency. Through your team you will ensure creation and activation of communication content in relevant channels, to inform and engage with co-workers and stakeholders. You will secure and develop the right preconditions for delivering on the communication plan, such as resources, ways of working and tools.

Your role will include:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of the operational communication plan for supply
  • Ensure the creation and activation of communication content to inform and engage co-workers and other stakeholders
  • Responsible to secure and develop preconditions such as resources, ways of working and tools to deliver the set common communication direction and plan(s)
  • Drive the collaboration with relevant stakeholders throughout the Inter IKEA communication community and other functions to secure an integrated communication approach. 
  • Contribute to impacting business strategies, priorities and processes, and their successful implementation, through communication 
  • Lead, coach and develop co-workers in the team, promoting best practice in communication and continually bench marking against industry standards 
  • Together with Communication Manager, set clear goals and KPI’s for the central team, measure and follow up 

The role will report to Communication Manager IKEA Supply.
