You become part of BEUMER Group as you join our Airport Automation team, who develop and maintain automation solutions for our airport baggage handling systems across the entire globe.

You will lead a team of appr. 15 Automation Engineers, all working on major baggage handling system projects and are a group of highly skilled automation professionals.

Managing your team
As the Team Manager, you will report to the Airport Engineering Director, and will be responsible for the daily planning and execution of automation projects in close cooperation with the overall project management of the complete system solution, hence you will have a wide range of stakeholders across the majority of the organization.

Your tasks include:

  • Planning and execution of automation projects in alignment with the overall project management
  • Estimating task and cost to complete on active projects in our monthly resource planning
  • Supporting sales on new projects, and supporting your team with strong technical guidance
  • Participating in specification work and reviews
  • Driving team meetings, staff 1:1 meetings and personal development dialogues
  • Recruiting, salary dialogues, organisational reviews etc.

A strong automation background with a dedication to leadership  
You have strong experience in managing automation projects. You are focused on the delivery of high-quality automation software and tough deadlines. You achieve this through a strong overview of your team, close interaction and clear agreements/communication with your stakeholders. However, a key driver to your success is based on your desire to work with people. As Team Manager, you are driven towards developing, guiding and motivating the team through your experience and strong leadership behavior.

Moreover, you:

  • Have a strong technical background, e.g. in automation
  • Have solid experience in or understanding of project execution 
  • Speak and write English at a high level
