SureDone's software helps larger e-commerce businesses who sell across channels like eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, BigCommerce and elsewhere to scale their businesses. From products to inventory to pricing to orders - we automate a lot of the repetitive and error prone tasks.

We're an incredibly customer and employee centric company with plenty of holidays and vacation time, the ability to work from anywhere and we really do care for your well being.

Job Description

Unless you are in upstate NY and want to work from an office, this is a remote position :)

This role is pretty much what the title says. You're here to help our customers get their data into our software and learn how to use it. It's heavy on project management and communications, and then part training, part Excel work, part writing automations in our scripting system, part support, part putting a smile on customer's faces.

  • You're going to be working with anywhere from 5 customers to 30 customers at a time on projects that take from 2 weeks to 6 months. Using our systems (Asana and others) you'll need to break projects apart into small pieces, know the status of every project, and stay in constant communication with the customer every week. A big part of your job is making sure that projects move forward and that the customer and SureDone team members all know what needs to be done.

  • You will train customers on how to use our platform, help them configure the system, and import and get their data right. You're not allowed to yell at them - so you need to be a generally nice person (at least when you're working with our customers, and preferably your co-workers).

  • You'll use intermediate functions of Excel to work with datasets so large that they will slow your computer to a crawl at times.

  • Secondarily, you'll be part of our help desk to assist with solving customer issues. And they definitely have issues - but you'll be focused on the ones having to do with our software.

  • We have a focus on e-commerce sellers in the automotive, motorsports, powersports and marine aftermarket verticals. If you like cars or motorcycles and are rebuilding one, you can't accept parts and accessories as tips - but if you're really good and fun you might get an all expenses paid trip to be in our booth at the SEMA tradeshow. (Vegas baby!)

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should possess meticulous planning and time management skills and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • The candidate must be a quick learner with a humble attitude, able to move quickly while communicating positively with both customers and teammates. It is crucial to keep all parties informed and updated throughout the process.

  • A bit of experience in programming / development would be beneficial as part of the role involves automating tasks through basic configuration files.

  • Strong intermediate Excel skills are required, including vlookup and experience handling large data sets.

  • Experience in person-to-person training or instruction is preferred.

  • The candidate must exhibit excellent writing skills, including proper grammar and spelling, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.

  • The ability to work consistently within US Eastern Time Zone operational hours (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm) is required.

  • Preferably an understanding of how APIs work, along with XML, JSON and CSV formats.

  • Preferably, the candidate should have experience in working for a SaaS company in a support or onboarding role or have experience managing listings, inventory, and orders on e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, etc.

  • Experience with selling on, or supporting sellers on, various marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart is preferred.

  • Preferably, the candidate should have experience working with an e-commerce operations platform such as SureDone, Channel Advisor, Solid Commerce, or similar platforms.

  • Experience in the automotive, motorsports, and powersports parts and accessory space is preferred.

  • The candidate should have a permanent address within the United States and be authorized to work in the US, but the work location is flexible as long as they can work within Eastern Time Zone hours.

By the way - if you are a current or former middle school or high school educator (7-12), this is a great role and you should definitely apply. Whether you teach algebra, geometry, calculus, or other math, chemistry, biology, earth science, english, social studies or other classes, and perhaps have experience in curriculum development and other areas of education or school administration, your skills are very applicable to a role like this.

Additional Information

Compensation

Completely dependent on your experience.

  • Are you fairly new without a lot of references behind you? If you seem right, we may start you at $35k-$40k and see how you do. Grow in the role, show us what you've got, and your comp will increase.
  • Are you walking in with all sorts of experience supporting mutlichannel e-commerce software? Then we might pay you $45k-$60k.
  • Have you done everything on our list and are like a complete mega star? We might pay you $50k-$70k.

I guess we're saying we'll fairly compensate you based on the value you bring to us at the start, and the cost of living in your location, and then we'll work our way up from there. Not only are we looking for win-win opportunities with our customers, but we want a win-win with each of our team members. And we're looking for you to grow - so this is just your starting compensation.

We also provide healthcare, 401k and other benefits.
