Job Description

  • You will be mainly responsible for ensuring that the entire store application landscape (store ERP system, POS Software, hardware and store processes) meet the organizational goals  

  • You will provide guidance related to our store ERP system, set parameters and work with our business units to define, prioritize, and develop change requests  

  • You align the needs of our business units to foster synergies within the REWE Group  

  • You will lead / coordinate international projects and you will be an active contributor on internal steering committees  

  • Support our colleagues with business insights activities by creating your own reports and deep dive into our world of data 

  • Create / update guidelines, user manuals and workflow descriptions 

  • As knowledge hub for the store application landscape, you communicate and inform pro-active about new developments, features and trends

  • Goal and success oriented with hands-on mentality
  • Self-motivated, assertiveness, negotiation skills, conflict- and problem solving skills
  • Coaching- and training competences
  • The willingness to travel and intercultural skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and an above-average commitment
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, good understanding of the retail business

Professional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in retail (preferred REWE)
  • Good knowledge in change management
  • Good understanding of software development, application landscape and business analyses
  • Good computer skills, especially in MS Office, SAP/Business Objects and MS PowerBI
  • Fluent English, German or Eastern European language is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel to the extent of 20-25%
