Job Description

The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

We are looking for a General Practitioner (GP) to provide competent, patient-centred primary care within a fun, flexible and well-paced team.

Our clinics specifically support our students and are not open to the general public. We are a team of 11 Doctors supported by a dedicated nursing team and administrators. Our three clinics are based in Auckland’s CBD (Symonds Street), Grafton and, for the time being, Epsom. The majority of the team are based in our Symonds Street clinic, which is where this role is located.

You will report to the Medical Lead and work closely with the Counselling and Nursing teams to ensure the delivery of our holistic and integrated services. This will be an ideal role for a GP who has a particular interest in mental and sexual health and young adults.

We have flexibility on the number of days we can offer, but we are ideally looking for 4 days a week split over 7.5 hour days. We are open to considering a variety of GPs at different stages of their careers, although our current preference is for you to have achieved Fellowship.

As part of a forward plan, we are also open to hiring a second GP, so this is a perfect time to contact us to discuss your interest and working preferences. We may be able to flex to your specific hourly needs, so please do reach out if you would like to discuss how this works in practice and the number of days you are looking to work.
