As a Field Activator for the Southern region of Africa, you support the area sales manager and the local distributors in field activation.

Responsibilities:

-Supporting the area sales manager and the distributors in the region in field activation activities.

-Co-visiting with the sales representatives of the distributor towards end the end customer:

• Informing end customers about Wolf Oil, our products (emphasising their advantages) and our positioning towards competition.
• Identifying needs and opportunities, suggesting alternatives and supporting the sales representatives in the sales of our brand and in the implementation of promotions, marketing concepts and tools in the market.

-Participating in fairs and shows.

-Conducting market study in different product categories and prospecting to activate these.

You report to the Area Sales Manager of East & Southern Africa.

Job requirements & skills :

• You have a strong interest and/or relevant experience in the automotive after market (lubricants and/or spare parts);
• You have a well-organised, result driven personality and you want to create an impact;
• You have the ability to travel extensively, work independently and learn continuously;
• You're able and willing to commute to our HQ in Hemiksem (Antwerp) on a regular basis;
• Your well-honed interpersonal and communication skills allow you to develop positive, productive relationships both internally and externally and across multiple countries;
• You're able to communicate fluently/business level in English, any other language spoken in the region is an asset;
• Higher degree or equivalent by experience;
• You're based/you live in Johannesburg.
