Job Description

Position Overview:

The Chinese Copywriter should be proficient in editing, writing, and publishing a range of communications in Chinese on various social media and marketing touchpoints with the ability to combine the art of writing with the client’s brand/product to best convey brand communication, including marketing message, corporate communications, websites, product brochures, advertising campaigns, marketing emails, etc. This role requires all levels for copywriting including but not limited to the development of original content, editing or rewriting of existing content, and translations (English to Chinese).

Responsibilities:

  • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
  • Proofread, edit, and rewrite existing Chinese and English material to ensure accuracy of message
  • Working with customers to define their content needs
  • Support the team in other ad hoc activities including research, project management, and strategy development
  • Manage the production of creative content for digital platforms, working closely with other team members such as account managers, web developer, and designers.
  • Staying up to date on industry trends to support content development
  • Ensure the quality of all copy-writing deliverables
  • Cooperate with both internal and external parties and provide input on content development

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Native Chinese speaker with a fluency in the English language
  • 2 to 3 years of experiences in copywriting/content editing
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in the luxury, hospitality industry
  • A high degree of organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledgeable about the timeshare industry within Asia and abroad
  • Has a keen eye for lifestyle trends and travel trends within the Asian market
  • Keen about social trend and languages
  • In-depth social media knowledge (Wechat/Weibo/Douyin, etc.) and digital content creation expertise is a big plus
  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
