Position Overview:

The copywriter develops ideas and produces material and content that links a brand or business to its target audience. Their job may involve writing, designing, and editing content that a business creates as part of a content development plan. The core of effective content production includes matching search intent and giving value to the customer and brand. Overall, their goal is to use quality and compelling content to raise brand recognition, attract new consumers and retain existing ones.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
  • Revising content whenever customers or clients request changes
  • Working with customers to define their content needs
  • Optimizing articles for SEO and accessibility
  • Writing engaging content for blogs, announcement, video scripts, marketing materials, and other assets
  • Editing content to ensure voice, grammar and style is on point
  • Creating and scheduling posts for multiple social media channels
  • Staying up to date on industry trends to support content development
  • Distilling complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style
  • Managing and completing work on time for multiple content writing projects
  • Working with content strategists to build editorial calendars

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in English Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant areas
  • A natural flair for copywriting and copy editing
  • A high degree of organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledgeable about the timeshare industry within Asia and abroad
  • Has a keen eye for lifestyle trends and travel trends within the Asian market
  • Native communication capabilities in English
  • Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing
  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
