IMC is the global in-house agency for the IKEA brand. We make the content that inspires people to make a better everyday life. We are responsible for planning and developing communication for all IKEA markets across the world – from the global IKEA website to local ad campaigns.

We are now looking for a Finance Controller to our IMC Business & Navigation Finance Team in Älmhult. Do you want to join us?

As a Finance Controller you will contribute to the decision making at IKEA Marketing & Communication by actively and timely provide reliable financial information. You will secure the coordination between different business teams and finance team on the financial topics and issues and at the same time securing the financial compliance. Your responsibility and tasks will include:

• Secure accurate monthly, bi-monthly, and annual timely and compliant financial reporting
• Provide financial follow-ups, analysis, and reports to various stakeholders
• Follow up cost controlling of cost components and cost centers performance vs budget and forecast
• Secure the annual budget process with stakeholders and secure items to be aligned with the company’s plans
• Drive changes and identifying opportunities within the different areas for the improvement of financial performance
• Secure adherence to accounting policies, rules, and regulations
• Support ad-hoc analysis and in projects and specific initiatives
• Be a key contact for the local organisation in the area of finance and for semi-annual and annual financial audit, as well as support the day-to-day teams’ operations

• Experience of working in a similar role, ideally, in a large global organization. 
• Knowledge and experience in financial reporting, financial analysis and in financial planning; budgeting and forecasting
• Knowledge and experience of accounting principles, managerial accounting, and financial audits
• Ability to work in a structured and organized way while maintaining a good overview of the business, while keeping attention to the details
• Interest and passion to work together to find common solutions and to build trust and partnership to reach common goals
• Energy and drive to deliver result while initiate ways to improve and simplify our ways of working
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken with the ability to engage and communicate with leaders and managers

You have a positive attitude, are solution-oriented and have a strong drive with a good ability to collaborate and enable co-creation. You enjoy working in a changing and complex environment, with simplicity and togetherness in focus.
