We are looking for Team Manager for Data Enablement

You will be important on our journey where we have decided to dare to be IKEA, optimize for relevance and have the best possible products at lowest possible price.  

We are now looking for a Team Manager in Information Management.  You’ll lead a team of co-workers focusing on making data and information consistent, organised, accessible and trustworthy. You will be responsible for leading the successful implementation and adoption of data enablement capabilities such as Business glossary, Data catalog, Data Quality, etc. Act as the point of entry for stakeholders for data enablement in your area of responsibility (Solution architects, Data & analytics, Data stewards, etc.) Starting point is focus on Product data. 

You will report to the Information Management Manager. You will have the opportunity to represent your area of responsibility in the broader IIG data enablement network and be the point of entry for the platform(s) and products connected to data enablement. 

For the job as a Team Manager, you have: 

  • Strong ability to lead business, deliver results through involving and engaging people 

  • Strong ability to lead the demand capture of requirements for data enablement capabilities and create a portfolio with the stakeholders that actively drives synergies across Inter IKEA as well as renew and improve continuously. 

  • Strong ability to nurture data steward communities to secure collaboration and sharing of best practices 

  • Ability to drive simplicity in an entrepreneurial culture that maintains the balance between delivering business value and business agility 

  • Worked with technology as a business tool and translate requirements into solutions, balancing user experience, business needs and digital constraints 

  • Good interpersonal communication skills: active listening, coaching and facilitating. Communicating in a clear, structured and honest way. 

This is a permanent role based in Älmhult. 

The Team Manager is crucial for developing a successful team and business, and we believe that your presence with the team and working the majority of the time in the workplace is important.
