Job Description
FP&C Consulting has a position open for a Junior Procurement Analyst on a task with the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) with the Department of Energy’s Golden Field Office. This position will perform a variety of tasks associated with accomplishing and delivering documentation associated with federal contract administration, both pre- and post-award. This position can be fully remote as long as the candidate can align their hours to Golden, CO working hours (for example, 8am-4pm MT).
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting government personnel in support of preparation of documentation associated with contracting action packages.
- Inputting accurate and appropriate information into automated contracting systems.
- Processing contract files for closeout activities and prepare for review and approval by government personnel.
- Assisting with other contractual actions required to ensure overall management of contracts in a timely, accurate and effective manner in compliance with FAR and agency specific policies, processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods or organizations from an accredited, degree-granting institution.
- 2 years of procurement experience is required; Federal procurement experience is desired
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
