Essential Duties:

·         Process customer deductions and monitor progress/collections and ensure that customers follow terms and conditions policies

·         Obtain appropriate documentation to support the deduction

·         Interacting with the Sales team & Brokers to reconcile promotion-related deductions that are not in Trade Promotion Management system (TPM)

·         Process credit memos and journal entries in NetSuite to code deductions to correct GL accounts

·         Assist/follow up on invalid and post-audit claims for customers by partnering with other key stakeholders, consolidating the info & present it to Sales for direction

·         Review Non-Trade deductions from customers and present findings to the appropriate teams. Collaborate with Operations on recovery of invalid deductions

·         Identify trends in deductions, such as shortages, damages, unsaleable, and pricing

·         Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the finance department

Skills / Qualification / Education:

·         Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical

·         Comfortable handling large amounts of data

·         Experience with large retailers/distributors such as KeHE, Target, or UNFI

·         Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team

·         Analytical/problem-solving skills

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Experience using large ERP

·         Microsoft Excel (Pivot table creation and VLOOKUP)

·         Prior CPG experience is a plus

·         Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
