Company Description

Creating Space to Grow.

Lemay is at the forefront of inclusive design, with thought-leading projects across the country. We have transformed the centres of cities, reframing our histories while providing radically new ways to use and share public space. This has been in delicate, nuanced work, but also in some of the largest, most important, and critically recognized cultural projects and public spaces in Canada and internationally.

We are a firm that designs generous spaces that create meaningful impact. Lemay is a national, award-winning firm with a strong team of 450 designers, industry leaders, and change-makers who want to see change in their own backyards, and across communities at home and abroad.

We are constantly working together to imagine new ways to design and build healthy spaces that will engage users and bring people together. We seek to create solutions for individuals and communities, while addressing the fundamental challenges our world faces.

We practice what we preach. The process, the ideas, and the goals we bring to the table are all things we have applied to our own spaces. We believe buildings should give more than they take, and of doing more with less.

We generously and humbly offer.

Lemay makes the development and well-being of its talent a priority. Part of that is offering the following advantages:

  • Competitive compensation;
  • Flexible group insurance program (health, dental, medical, paramedical insurance);
  • $1,008 to invest as needed (health and wellness management accounts, RRSP/DPSP);
  • Payment of membership fees to your professional associations;
  • A minimum of 3 weeks vacation;
  • Paid office closure between Christmas and New Year;
  • Hybrid and remote work policy at all times;
  • Summer and flexible hours year round;
  • Social activities throughout the year;
  • Internal training available to all employees (Lemay Academy);
  • Integration course paired with a Lemay employee;
  • Online training platform and gym in some offices;
  • Telemedicine platform;
  • Up to 70% off monthly public transit passes.

What sets us apart.

We believe in applying design as a catalyst for change and are constantly working with communities to recalibrate the way our cities tell our stories. True to our Montreal roots, we promote diversity and openness across our six offices and within our partnerships. We are passionate creators, unafraid of pushing the boundaries of architecture and design. It is by embracing the constraints that push us to innovate that we create meaningful, sustainable spaces that are focused on users. Ours is a venture of constant exchange, where the best idea always emerges. We push the limits of design and drive change through creativity, in the name of a brighter future.
