Job Description

As Teamleader of the Engineering Department you will have an unique opportunity to participate in all relevant disciplines in large-scaled offshore wind projects as well as other renewables industries within R&D design and implementation. You will lead, manage and be part of a team that develops innovative solutions and acts as a key support to tender, sales and project management. You will manage enginering projects and provide input to optimization that can improve productivity, efficiency, profitability and sustainability of projects.

Areas of responsibility

  • Overall responsible for The Engineering Department and all engineering projects ensuring the following:
  •  Management and development of the Engineering Team and Engineering Projects
  •  See to that fulfillment of contract obligations are met
  •  Make sure that customer specifications, requirements and expectations are met
  •  Secure compliance with laws, regulations, norms and standards
  •  Oversee that time schedule is kept and quality requirements are met
  •  Manage budgeting and invoicing
  • You are responsible for design, develop and implementation of electrical engineering solutions in the Engineering Department
  • Manage implementation of cost effective and flexible construction and installation solutions in engineering projects
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications, standards and norms, or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities
  • Make sure that documentation (design specifications, drawing, calculation and test verification reports, etc.) are up to standard
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc.), Marine Engineer or a business Management degree with relevant experience or similar
  • You have experience as engineer and manager – and additional experience with large-scaled offshore Wind projects
  • You are able to identify actions needed to mitigate risks and can manage these actions together with all stakeholders
  • You can work with multiple projects at the same time without losing focus
  • Strong communication skills in regards to presenting technical solutions internally and externally to clients
  • Possess a “Best in class” mentality
  • Fluent language skills in Danish and English both written and oral
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Work location

You will be working from our head office in Aalborg. Both national and international travel activity must be expected (around 40 days a year).
