Job Description

The Brand Strategy Intern will be responsible for researching clients, industries, competitors, audiences, summarizing secondary research, helping to draft, code, monitor and analyze surveys and quantitative research, scheduling for stakeholder and focus group participants, writing creative briefs, draft personas and profiles and support brand workshops. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, a natural question asker, can be both a big thinker and someone with a good attention to detail. The Brand Strategy Intern will work alongside our VP of Strategy but can also be expected to lend support for content and marketing teams to achieve client results.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze the results of a market survey

  • Create a review of a set of competitors

  • Review and write a secondary research summary 

  • Create a stakeholder/focus group schedule 

  • Write a creative brief 

  • Program a quantitative survey 

  • Create a quantitative survey results summary 

  • Develop quantitative survey analysis 

  • Draft personas/profiles from existing research 

  • Prep for a brand workshop 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A hunger for learning and the ability to perform independent research to solve problems

  • Comfortability in Keynote, Google Slides and Sheets

  • A working knowledge of general marketing and research practices 

  • Ability to thrive while working on multiple projects with strict deadlines

  • Ability to work well with all teams across the agency while demonstrating LaneTerralever’s company values at all times

  • Commitment to completing work on-time that meets or exceeds expectations of quality
