Job Description

Internal title: CRM System Manager

Uncommon’s Data & IT (D&IT) team is undergoing an exciting transformation to improve technology operations and systems. We are seeking a skilled System Manager to drive developing, implementing, and leading execution of a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program - Salesforce. This role will act as the expert on all things Salesforce.

The CRM System Manager’s role is to supervise and maintain the installation, configuration, and support of the organization’s CRM software. This person will analyze and resolve CRM program issues in a timely and accurate fashion as well as hold responsibility for supervising data quality. The CRM System Manager will also apply communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the functional teams (Alumni Relations, Student Recruitment, Development, External Relations, Accounting, IT) on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of CRM software critical to business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant certifications required
  • 6+ years work experience; 3-4 years of directly related experience
  • Experience running an ecosystem of similar complexity in a multisystem environment
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to find and prioritize critical-path activities, taking assumptions and contingencies for potential risks into account
  • Change management skills, and ability to manage up and influence partners without direct authority to make change
  • Experience providing documentation/insight into key aspects of projects (e.g. progress, achievements, etc.) for partners

Additional Information

Please note while this role is remote, we are currently not hiring staff working remotely from Alaska, California, Colorado, DC, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Additionally, if you live in the NYC/Newark metro-area, you must be in person 3 days/week at our central office in Downtown. You will have the flexibility to work from home the other two days.

Compensation for this position: The starting compensation for this role based in New York is between $91,290 to $107,400 and generally, we expect that qualified candidates in this location will be made an offer between $91,300 and $96,700. If candidates live outside of the NYC-area, the salary will be geodifferentiated. The starting pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. Because we value staff staying in their roles over time, we do not currently cap salary ranges.
