Located near the Atwater Market, TONIC DNA is a full-service animation production company that specializes in high-quality creative content. With more than 35 years of experience in the animation field, the studio offers a full range of services related to the production of commercials, animated series, short and feature films, as well as branded content solutions, digital or interactive, for clients all around the world.

Your Responsibilities:  

• Develop in-house procedures, tools, and scripts to streamline 2D pipeline. 

• Optimize and maintain procedures and techniques on 2D films and series productions. 

• Collaborate with production supervisors to plan and establish the requirements of each production.  

• Collaborate with Technical/R&D Director and the research team to develop tools/plug-ins for Toonboom Harmony and associated production software.  

• Develop and implement training documentation and mentoring to enhance skill sets within the studio. 

• Troubleshoot day-to-day pipeline issues that arise during the course of production. 

Requirements:  

•  Complete understanding of 2D production pipelines 

• Expert knowledge of ToonBoom Harmony/Storyboard Pro infrastructure and set up 

• Expert knowledge of Qt Script, Javascript, and Python scripting languages. 

• Experience in a 2D environment with character rigging, compositing and FX.  

• Knowledge of ShotGrid (formerly ShotGun) also a plus.
