Our client is looking for an experienced data scientist. This position combines developing advanced solutions for data analytics and building analytical tools. 

• Develop analytical solutions to support business needs (predictive analytics, healthcare commercial reports, outcomes research studies, etc.).

• Support Sales and Production teams as required, provide actionable insights. Work with non-technical personnel and translate general requirements into detailed specifications. Act as an advanced analytics internal consultant.

• Conduct unsupervised research on various healthcare topics from therapeutic areas to medications to industry classification systems, as necessary.

• Work in a fast-paced environment.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with healthcare data such as pharmacy and medical claims, EMR/EHR, or others is required.

• Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques and concepts (e.g., models selection, machine learning techniques, statsitical analysis) and experience working on real-world applications.

• Working knowledge of R, python, SQL, SAS or similar.

• Hands-on experience in developing and presenting analyses of complex datasets coming from different sources.

• Ability to switch tasks as required, strong project management skills.

• Team player and a motivated self-starter.

• Bachelor of Science is required; an advanced degree in statistics, computer science, economics or another quantitative field is preferred.
