Job Description

Our Customer Service Associates specialize in helping our clients find solutions and resolutions to any of their concerns and service issues. This is an important and integral part of our core mission statement and for something we take great pride in, called the ‘Dodd’s Experience.’ 

Qualifications

    Acting as a direct liaison between Dodd's Management Team and our valued customers, duties include:

    • Greeting all guests upon arrival in a professional manner, thus immediately addressing any concerns they may have. 
    • Attending to all incoming Customer Service inquiries received via phone/email, website or social media channels.
    • Thoroughly investigating all claims, so that any purchasing discrepancy, inventory and/or delivery issue may be resolved in a timely manner to everyone's satisfaction.
    • Increasing personal product knowledge, continuous learning and acknowledgment of current sales techniques & promotions.
    • Honing conflict resolution skills when dealing with irate customers. Responding to questions & complaints in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Time management in order to respond to customer issues in a timely manner.
    • Handling returns and complaints, recording all pertinent information with regards to customer interactiions and follow-up.

    High-energy, people-pleasers are encouraged to apply!   You do not need sales or retail furniture experience to be successful in this position. We'll provide you all of the necessary training and tools you will need.  

    Effective, respectful communication between all internal departments, staff members and external vendors is a must. Basic computer skills and a min. high school diploma is required.

    Experience in “high customer expectation" work, such as serving in food and beverage, hotels or hospitality may be helpful, but is not required.  Excellent time-management skills, attention-to-detail and impeccable follow-up will be required throughout your 40-hour work week.
