PhillyTech is looking for Engineers and Developers that live in LATAM, preferrably Colombia, but outside of Colombia / anywhere in LATAM would be OK, that will work full-time for PhillyTech, and would be working with our Disruptive FinTech client described below.

PhillyTech's client is an industry leading financial technology company (fintech) in the home improvement space. They're building a national network of contractors that offer our financing solutions to their respective homeowners. The company is growing quickly and anticipates growing our loan volume to over $1 Billion in 2022 and beyond. 

• You will be involved in the design, development, and implementation of the React.js platform.

• You will integrate the database and file storage solutions.

• You will work with and integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

• You will identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

• You will help maintain high code quality, organization, and automation and be a team player.

• You have experience (or the desire to work) in a collaborative environment and want to work with a diverse and welcoming team of engineers.

• You are able to contribute across the code base, including React. js-based front-end and have a strong understanding of HTML/CSS.

• Although not required, you will have the opportunity to dive into the AWS operations stack based on Docker containers deployed through ECS using CloudFormation scripts.

• Must have 3-10+ years of professional development experience writing in React.js code or relevant experience in other web languages/frameworks.

• Must have experience creating web applications and a deep understanding of web technologies.

• Strong attention to detail is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a collaborative environment.

• Proven ability to work with highly confidential data with a high level of professionalism.

• Excited to work in a startup environment; you have a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth environment.

• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests, and familiar with continuous integration.
