We are currently looking for a Deburr Associate to work our evening shift 7:30p-6:00a M-Th.  Training will take place on first shift  (6a-5:30p) for a minimum of 3 to 6 months.

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to support the department’s ability to achieve its goals and objectives.  This includes the accurate and timely cleaning and de-burring of parts according to customer and PAC specifications.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Duties:  The following are the normal duties performed by this position.  Other duties may be assigned.

1. De-bur the required number of components correctly, and in a timely manner according to process documentation.
2. Perform visual inspection according to process documentation.
3. Mark parts appropriately with the right tools.
4. Clean parts.
5. Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.
6. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and maintain work station to 5S standards.
7. Perform all work according to PAC safety standards.
8. Comply with all PAC policy and procedures.

Physical Conditions:

1. Vision to AS 9100 standards.
2. Ability to maintain a high degree of focus and attention for long periods of time
3. Lift, push and/or pull 10 pounds.
4. Sit at least 80% of the scheduled shift.
5. Routinely perform tedious operations requiring hand and finger dexterity.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to recognize and remove burrs in metal.  Prior detailed manufacturing work utilizing a microscope, hand tools or other micro-manufacturing equipment preferred.
3. Blueprint reading skills.
4. Basic Windows and MS Office skills.
5. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
6. Ability to perform basic math functions.
7. Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to ITARs policy and practice.
