Job Description

We are looking for a Media Director to join our Budapest team. We believe that great things can only be done with a motivated staff, and we love doing great things!

MEDIA DIRECTOR

As a Media Director, besides of looking after and nurturing the top talents in the team, you will be expected to deliver high service toward our key partners and to represent our values internally as well as externally.

Client specific tasks:

  • Keep in touch with clients, managing their requests in a timely manner
  • Developing a media and TV strategy for our clients
  • Detailed tactical planning and its supervision
  • Conducting media related trainings for our clients in Hungarian and English
  • Participate in presentations to clients in both Hungarian and English
  • Managing customer specific deals
  • Research management
  • Management and control of audits

Company specific tasks:

  • Being responsible for the development of the team members, day-to-day people management, regular catchups, and performance evaluations to be the best in town
  • Optimizing team dynamics and workflows with appropriate information flow
  • Full responsibility for the team and the quality of work within the team
  • Participate in recruitment and then training the new joiners
  • Developing and implementing an in-house training plan
  • Take part in client pitches
  • Assisting in the development of the company structure and processes
  • Preparing statistics, reports and analyses to the Groupe
  • Working together the company's management, continuous consultation on issues that arise
  • As we are an integrated agency, collaboration  with the entire Publicis Groupe team

Requirements

  • At least 5-6 years of professional experience at a media agency
  • Experience in all media, especially TV and digital 
  • Leadership and people management skills are also important

  • Once you have joined us, you’ll see that we not only learn each other's native language (remember the unofficial language lessons from above?), but also having regular get-togethers. Trying not to stay thirsty during every third Thursday (yes, we definitely call them Thirsty Thursdays!), having different themed parties during even the day with ice-cream in the garden or just simply having a wardrobe exchange mini market to give our clothes a new opportunity with someone else. 
  • If you have a furry, occasionally barking four-legged bestie, they are also more than welcome in the office.
