Assignment

Range & product 3D development within R&P management has the overall responsibility to lead and deploy Digital product development and a connected digital chain with 3D as the base. This include effective and efficient ways of working, methods, competences and tools for the area.

We work with scale-up and implementation of MVPs from DPD-project and roll out to relevant stakeholders. We enable Virtual prototyping and the creation of Virtual Products by securing pre-conditions and support. And with 3D as the change driver, we continue to explore and develop new digital capabilities into product development.

Tasks

As a Digital development leader you will work with business development and digital transformation. You challenge our existing ways of working by taking advantage of digital opportunities. You are an active partner for the BAs and matrices utilizing virtual prototyping – virtual concepts and prototypes analysed and evaluated through visualizations and simulations in a digital home context. You coach and inspire development teams, specialists, consumers and partners to work together in a connected digital chain.

Knowledge, capability and motivation

We think you have good understanding of 3D modelling and experience in 3D modelling techniques and CAD softwares such as Solid Works, CLO and Blender. You have experience in product development or equivalent cross functional experience from IKEA, I e from Supply or Retail organisations.

You have strong skills to inspire people to develop the business in an innovative and agile way. You have the ability to build relationships with all levels of co-workers both internal and with external partners.

You are driven by innovative development within home furnishing, range and products and have a passion for technology trends and digital development opportunities.
