Global Logistics Controlling and analytics is part of the Global Logistics function, which is supporting all Brands and business models within H&M Group. The Logistics Controlling team is diversified with colleagues with different backgrounds working closely together to improve the overall business result for our Logistics services for the H&M Group. In this role you will work in close collaboration with different stakeholders, internally as well as externally.

Job Description

In the role as Head of Logistics Controlling & Analytics you will lead the target setting, cost and related efficiency analysis &reporting to the entire organization– always with a clear customer focus.

You will be a leader for the controlling and analytics team, as well as leading our regions by create and shape strategic decision support. The team consists of different controlling roles as well as multiple analyst roles with expertise in Business, Sustainability, and Data. This to ensure best practices and successful initiatives are implemented to improve efficiency and sustainability for our business. You will also act as the overall responsible for financial guidelines, costs and play an active role in holistic performance monitoring and be a speaking partner towards the organization.

You will analyze, propose and implement strategies through controlling and planning with different stakeholders. You are the ambassador of Logistics and key collaboration partners will be H&M Group Controlling, CX & Sales, Head of Logistics and departments, Regional Logistics Managers and Regional Logistics Controlling.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Strategically lead the Global Logistics Controlling and Analytics department to ensure Logistics Operations are running compliantly and adherent to budget and H&M Group targets
  • Accountable for monitoring performance, identifying challenges and providing guidance to peers from a financial and operational perspective
  • Accountable for management and follow up on budgets and financial forecasts, both financially & operationally
  • Accountable for financial and quantitative insights and decision-making support within Logistics (e.g. reporting, analyses, dashboards). Contract management and negotiations are key elements for the future success of logistics

  • Accountable for logistics long-term planning (financial & operational) (e.g. five-year plan, logistics vision compliance)
  • Accountable for coordination and execution of Controlling-led projects and programs
  • Accountable for adherence and compliance to financial policies and quality standards
  • Speaking partner to accounting/auditors/transfer pricing/security (e.g. stock accuracy, shrinkage, scrapping)

Qualifications

To be successful as Head of Controlling, we believe you have extensive experience as a senior manager within finance and controlling together with a proactive mindset. You are customer centric and constantly seeks new business opportunities. Your communication skills are solid with a strong ability to influence, inspire and bring together multiple business partners, both internal and external.

You have great leadership skills and believe in a culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. You empower others to fail, learn, and grow and celebrate success as much as failure. You are a visionary that coaches and empower your colleagues with the most relevant competencies so they can lead, collaborate, and deliver exceptional customer and business results. We also see that you have:

  • Extensive experience from working with steering and controlling, experience from sales is meritorious
  • Education within business administration, engineering or similar 
  • Strong and proven leadership skills
  • The courage to question and challenge business partners with facts based on analysis of figures to influence strategic decisions
  • Experience from working in a complex and diverse business context
  • Strong ability in solving challenging issues through collaboration and cross functional teams
  • A strategic mindset and capability to identify synergies
  • An analytical, data driven and proactive mindset, with a strong track record showing ability to turn data into concrete actions and results
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English

Additional Information

This is a fulltime position with placement preferable in Stockholm, Sweden, but we are curious to hear from all candidates to understand your possibilities. You will report to the Head of Logistics.
