Job Description

Market Input is a function within Sales, IKEA of Sweden where we lead the collaboration between all retail markets and other relevant stakeholders in the IKEA network regarding long term insights around future needs connected to developing a unique, relevant and commercial offer with the three business plan portfolios Range & Communication, Supply and Meeting the Customer.

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our fantastic Market Input team!

As a Market Input Specialist, you will be one of two super users of and responsible to maintain and develop the Market Input Tools (BARIUM platform) and Market Specific Online.

You will create and lead new solutions for these tools based on the business needs in connection to other IKEA systems and with alignment to different functions in IKEA of Sweden. You will cooperate with sales functions both in Retail and IKEA of Sweden.

You will enable efficiency in ways of working for the areas of expertise: Operational Market Input and Market Specific. This include to perform trainings for and support user groups across the IKEA network.

You will secure quality, communicate deadlines and support with the creation of year cycles. In this role you will also contribute in capturing business and user requirements for Operational Market Input and Market Specific working methods, processes, templates, competence, support and tool releases.

You will report to the Market Input Manager in Sales, IKEA of Sweden and be a part of the Market Input team.

Qualifications

  • You understand IKEA and how it is all joined up, building good relationships and interacting with relevant parts in the IKEA network. 
  • You have Superuser experience in tools/applications and enjoy working in system landscapes. You have retail experience and knowledge in working with a global agenda. In your career backpack you might carry experience of working as  Demand Planner, Need Planner, Sales Support, Meeting the customer specialist, Sales collaboration specialist, Project Controller or Business Analyst.
  • Your ability to lead through others and nurture enthusiasm, willpower and co-creation growing the IKEA spirit.
  • You enjoy to inspire others and create great learning environments.
  • You are a good communicator and you express yourself clearly in spoken and written English, sharing relevant information and listens actively to gain information.

Your analytical skills are great and you have an eye for details, yet with a holistic view on how the details contribute to a successful business. You enjoy working with tools, templates and working methods. 

You love the unknown, navigating in a fast-changing environment being open to doing things differently.

Experience from one or more Business Areas within IKEA of Sweden and/or knowledge about the Market Input areas is a bonus.
