Job Description

WE TURN KNOWLEDGE INTO IDEAS: Co-creation is a way for IKEA to engage with the many people to understand the problems, wishes, needs and challenges. We meet people where they are in everyday life, curious on what they have to say. What we learn we take with us to create better products and impactful communication, based on peoples wishes and needs – that people will love. In the Co-create team you will work in a truly global context in close collaboration to our franchisees and other partners.

  • As a Co-create Project leader you will together with business owners, such as product development teams, lead the co-creation activities and content plan for projects and then be responsible for realising them.
  • You will together with your colleagues in the Co-create team you will lead the work of creating exciting dialogues and engaging consumer interaction with the IKEA Tone of voice at heart.
  • From each activity you will also be responsible for summarising data, insights and feedback from the interaction to create clear actionable insights to the development.
  • You will also be a force in the creative movement will drive the mind-shift necessary for more diverse thinking and greater relevance through collaboration, creativity and entrepreneurship.
  • By creating great examples and execute across all levels of Range and Communication the creative movement will be the fuel that inspire creativity to strengthen the IKEA identity.

This is what you will do on a daily basis:

  • Implement the creative movement to empower creative leadership
  • Create dialogues between IKEA and the many people through consumer interactions.
  • Develop co-creation interactions for both product and communication development projects.
  • Support with communication and engagement throughout project.
  • Turning knowledge into ideas helping teams understand complex insights – and how to act on it!
  • Identify and train ambassadors for the co-creation method.
  • Enable dialogue with all our stakeholders regularly and set long-term plans for how to support the business with consumer interactions. 
  • Contributing to a faster and better range and communication development with high speed and high quality when deploying the co-creation method.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we believe that you

  • Excellent knowledge in IKEA Vision, Concept, Business Idea, understanding the structure of the Strategic landscape as well as the IKEA Culture & Values
  • Knowledge about and experience from different parts of IKEA value chain
  • Coach others to use exploration and creative processes and tools
  • Strong in communication skills both written and spoken
  • Excellent ability to lead creative movements and to turn insights into actions and ideas
  • Attention to details organized and with the ability to perform and priorities multiple tasks
  • Forward looking with a broad approach and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to establish, manage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

You are fluent in English, and you have an excellent ability to communicate verbally and write in an inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice according to the chosen channel.
