Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Director of FP&A to provide support to our CFO and the rest of our executive leadership team. Your efforts will directly impact our financial direction and be critical to the ongoing success of our company as we continue to develop the first-of-its-kind quality and regulatory intelligence (QRI) platform for the life science industry.  

The ideal candidate will come with a proven track record of insightful financial planning and budgeting, performance reporting, forecasting, and modeling for a high-growth, startup SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work directly with our CFO and other executive leaders to identify opportunities and drive business decisions that will accelerate revenue and company growth
  • Drive financial forecasting and analytics to provide situational awareness and alignment of business operations with corporate strategy
  • Enhance our strategic planning capabilities by providing near-term, long-term, and rolling budget projections and analysis 
  • Support the development, tracking, and reporting of departmental and organizational OKRs
  • Provide regular and ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
  • Own the monthly and quarterly reporting package for our Board of Directors
  • Work with department heads to understand their operations and provide guidance and support in regard to effective systems and business processes

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in FP&A, preferably supporting a high-growth, startup SaaS company 
  • Uncanny analytical skills with strong attention to detail and an instinct for sweating the details 
  • Expert level 3-statement financial modeling and presentation skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience applying a wide range of financial models and methods to analyze large and often disparate financial data
  • Executive-level communication with the ability to clearly articulate and present ideas to all levels of an organization
  • Investment banking or consulting experience preferred
