THE CEE REGION

Publicis Groupe Central & Eastern European region (CEE) is a geography of 15 markets including Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Ukraine, Latvia and Lithuania. THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Talent Business Partner CEE (STBP) will be the direct associate to the CEE CTO, working closely together based on a trusting relationship. The STBP will take full ownership for the agreed talent objectives and partner with the CEE CTO on all aspects of CEE talent leadership.

The STBP will support the growth, transformation, compliance and success, and improve the overall talent quality and efficiency within the geography. The STBP will support the development and execute CEE’s Talent Plan, specifically in the areas of talent management, performance culture, learning & development, talent acquisition, succession, career development, employer branding, talent operations, compensation & benefits, legal, compliance, employee relations, sensitive people issues.

The STBP will provide strategic input to drive the talent agenda and work closely with the individual markets and global talent function teams to ensure a consistent framework.

Talent management maturity is diverse like the 15 CEE markets are in their scale, profile, economic and talent landscape, as well as the seniority of the talent leads (noting that a few smaller markets do not have a dedicated HR/talent team). The STBP should have gravitas and the ability to engage key stakeholders across the markets.

The position requires agility, intelligence, a strong POV, a self-driven and hands-on personality.

The STBP is adaptable, has an international and culturally sensitive mindset. A commercial approach and ambition for leveraging our Power of One business model is also pivotal to the role.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand Publicis Groupe CEE’s critical business requirements from talent and capabilities perspective, and support filling any gaps through employer branding, internal promotions and mobility, re-deploying, re-skilling and talent acquisition
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a powerful Talent Plan, consistent, cost effective and impactful, supporting the business needs
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Publicis Groupe CEE CTO, in particular in managing projects which deliver growth / transformation across the markets, deliver innovation, automation, and boost engagement of talent
  • Establish and maintain an active and constructive relationship with local talent teams and the dynamically evolving group of top talents. Consult and coach local talent teams especially those where team is new, with high level of sensitivity to local market specifics
  • Build horizontal teams and connections to cross fertilize intelligence and best-in-class thinking amongst teams, within and outside CEE
  • Coordinate implementation of global projects and programs effectively across the markets
  • Promote and coordinate collaboration and talent sharing, across the markets supporting the Groupe “Power of One’ model, and specifically within Le Pont
  • Support talent operations and manage legal matters, ensure all policies and procedures are complied with
  • Embrace a modern data driven approach to support various talent processes and decisions. Use data to analyze efficiency and gaps, identify opportunities of improvement
  • Strive to ensure that our interactions within the region and Groupe contribute to a highly engaging employee experience

Qualifications

THE PERSON

  • Has at least 8 years of experience in an international fast-paced environment in an HR / talent role, who has been dealing with all people related aspects of the business under limited direction
  • Must have worked with a few or multiple markets previously (single market experience excludes the application). Able to adapt and deliver quickly within a matrix environment
  • Must come from an industry where People are the company's number one asset to the company’s profile
  • Possesses fluency, or proficiency in English
  • Able to work with a variety of stakeholders ranging from top executives to juniors, to build consensus around talent activities
  • Able to bring immediate credibility to the Talent Function through their professional qualities as well as the highest levels of integrity; and displaying superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills + strong organizational skills
  • Ambitious to be part of a fully integrated business model and wants to drive change. Curious, enthusiastic, and passionate about the new and evolving trends especially in the digital and technology space
  • Possesses good financial acumen
  • Has the ability to provide information in a very professional manner, with full attention to detail
  • Demonstrates high working ethics, integrity and confidentiality, totally discreet
