Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Pre-K teacher to join our innovative and collaborative team. Educators with the capacity and willingness to teach students from Pre-K to Early Stage 1 and with a genuine interest in providing a relevant and engaging curriculum are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in teaching Pre-Kindergarten
  • Passion for teaching and deep knowledge of how Pre-Kindergarten children learn
  • Thorough curriculum knowledge, with the demonstrated ability to plan, teach and assess effectively
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications for the position and NESA teacher accreditation
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Understanding of the importance of a balanced approach to pedagogy between explicit instruction, play-based and inquiry learning
  • Ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into learning experiences
  • Capacity to use ICT to effectively support student learning
  • Genuine concern for the development of the whole child
  • Experience in, or understanding of restorative practices in the school context
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College
