Someone who can understand the value Cerby adds to businesses and then turn around and begin telling a cohesive story through various forms such as writing, podcasting, and video.

This unique role may be the most important in all marketing. Your day-to-day activities will include interviewing customers, industry influencers, prospects, and internal stakeholders such as sales and product to turn that information into a story. You will then take that story and develop and execute short- and long-term campaigns to drive leads and the sales pipeline. If you like to learn and then tell others about it creatively and compellingly, this role might be for you.

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Create content for our website, podcast, ads, email, social networks, and in-person events

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and the sales pipeline

  • Create, track and publish key lead metrics that indicate if our content strategy is working and optimize as needed to increase leads and conversion rates

  • Assist with QA and proofreading of communications copy for accuracy and consistency

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years experience in areas relevant to the role; journalism experience preferred

  • Understanding of brand positioning, including tone and voice

  • Experience with full-funnel marketing and contemporary content marketing strategies

  • Able to work independently and remotely, coming up with ideas, guiding and editing stories

  • Some experience with audio/video editing is preferred but not required

  • Understanding of cybersecurity and technology is preferred but not required

  • Writing samples, including any marketing content you’ve generated (blogs, articles, website content, infographics, e-books, etc.)
