Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

The University of Auckland invites applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time permanent position in Structural Engineering at the Lecturer / Senior Lecturer Levels. The successful candidate is expected to conduct high quality, impactful original research, advise students, contribute to undergraduate and graduate level teaching, and to participate in the administrative activities of the Department, the Faculty of Engineering and the University.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline by the date of appointment.

This is a permanent, full time role, 40 hours per week. The salary range is $86,000 - $144,526 depending on qualifications and experience.

Candidate must have an excellent academic record as evidenced by a publication record, as well as a track record of successful mentoring of students appropriate to the appointment level sought.
