We are looking for a highly-skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests. Test automation engineers' duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. You should also be committed to developing skills in order to provide up-to-date solutions.

To be successful as a test automation engineer, you should be exceptionally accurate and possess a good aptitude skills. Ultimately, a top-notch test automation engineer will be proficient in programming languages and have excellent time management skills.

Your responsibilities include:

• Building test cases, test plans, and test suites
• Designing and creating automated test scripts (Web, API, and Microservices) as part of an application test suite
• Managing manual and automated test management tool to test management tool and execute them in CI/CD tool (GCP experience is a bonus)
• Collaborating with product owners, and developers to ensure testing strategy will satisfy all acceptance criteria and development outcomes
• Performing ad-hoc and exploratory testing to find issues outside of normal use
• Testing application features against performance expectations and baselines
• Testing applications for common security vulnerabilities
• Creating and maintaining test data that will allow for all aspects of a test to be fulfilled, either through the application or directly with the data source

What it takes to get hired:

• 3-5 years of test automation experience
• 2+ years experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with Playwright/Jest is a plus
• Knowledge of manual and automation testing
• Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
• Experience working with web-based products
• A proven track record delivering high quality software
• Deep understanding of testing fundamentals along with hand-on knowledge around static testing, system testing, regression testing, functional testing, non-functional testing, ad-hoc testing, and performance testing
• Hands on experience with database systems like postgres and MongoDB are preferred
