Job Description

The virtual control unit is an important step further in the direction of digitization and cost reduction. For each physical system that Bosch delivers to the client (e.g. electric power system), an equivalent model will be simulated. According to the purpose of use (e.g. used by the client or used by Bosch), the simulation runs on a multitude of platforms (Windows, Linux or real-time computing systems). The current vECU version can be run both on Windows (32 bit and 64 bit), and on Linux (32 bit and 64 bit). For the last platform, the vECU solution is done with a lot of effort (e.g. there isn't an automatic compilation environment for the Linux vECU application).
