lastminute.com is looking for a Product Owner focused on Data Protection based in Chiasso.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Identify data protection needs and collaborate with the legal department to ensure we treat the information provided by our customers in the right way
  • Take full ownership of the product, the prioritisation of new features and enhancements to existing features
  • Thrive to achieve optimal implementation of changes made to the product.
  • Empower and collaborate with the other POs and key stakeholders to ensure we respect user privacy and GDPR requirements across the entire user journey

Qualifications

Essential

  • 2+ years experience working with web based companies
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills, are used to collaborate in big and complex environments, you are empathetic, diligent, and organized.
  • You are a strong team player and you will have strong cross-functional skills and will be comfortable leading discussions with senior leadership
  • You have great communication skills and the ability to drive influence both internally
  • You have an analytical mind, able to confidently define success metrics for your product. Your decision will be data-driven and you are constantly looking at data and identifying patterns and opportunities for product improvement
  • You are experienced with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Previous involvement with high traffic, preferably E-commerce sites
  • You are fluent in English

Desirable

  • Experience with data analytics software
  • Familiarity with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements, in particular user rights and consent requirements
  • Familiarity with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
  • Knowledge and experience in conversion optimisation, digital marketing, UX design and/or consumer psychology and research
