Job Description

Working as part of a busy and proactive Accommodation team, this is a vital full-time role, responsible for providing advice and information to tenants and keeping housing records up to date. You will assist the Accommodation Manager in achieving void turnaround targets, monitoring property repairs and maintenance, and creating tenancy agreements and associated legal paperwork. The accommodation department manages an impressive portfolio of circa 350 properties and the successful candidate will split their time between administrative office work and field-based duties e.g., property inspections and contractor liaison.

This role is a fixed term contract for 18 months and will be suitable for someone wishing to pursue a career in the housing sector. Full training and support will be given in studying towards a Level 3 qualification and subject to a successful 18-month period of development and mentorship, we aim to make this role permanent

Qualifications

This role would suit someone from a housing, estate agency, administration, or customer service background, but we welcome applications from those with no experience but with a passion for customer service and working in housing. A solid educational background to include GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English is important as well as a thorough working knowledge of MS Office. A driving license is essential for this role.
