Job Description

Position Purpose

The Accounting Intern provides support for the Business Management Group at LaneTerralever. The Intern must be extremely motivated and organized to be a huge asset in our fast-paced environment. A key element of this position is the candidate’s ability to think on their feet, be very adapting, and have great multi-tasking skills to meet LT’s ever-evolving project needs. The Accounting Intern provides support for monthly billing, media reconciliation, and vendor services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter, scan, and file vendor invoices
  • Assist with tracking payment for client invoices
  • Prepare client invoices upon request
  • Help the team with monthly close procedures where needed
  • Assist with vendor check runs
  • Enter and update the accounting system as necessary

Reporting Relationship: Accounting Intern will report directly to the Controller

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work on projects and coordinating of tasks with deadlines
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential
  • Extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to provide your best work
  • Undergraduate Junior or Senior in the Accounting field or have taken accounting classes
