Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering Daxko’s market-first brand management required to achieve the company goals. As one of our Senior Market Managers, you leverage research, company goals, and industry knowledge to create comprehensive winning market strategies for either one of Daxko’s markets in the fitness industry. You will lead Brand Managers to effectively translate that plan into tactical strategies. You are highly organized, quick to adapt, a self-starter, and an excellent verbal and written communicator with a passion for doing what it takes to become an expert on the health and wellness industry. 

As a leader you will: 

  • Supervise a team of brand managers, including setting team and individual goals, evaluating performance, and providing coaching to maximize effectiveness.  
  • Oversee management of enterprise marketing budget to ensure the best return on investment for the company.  
  • Review and approve all marketing deliverables to ensure they advance brand strategy and communicate outcomes important to the audience.  
  • Report on team performance, campaign effectiveness, and adjust plans to accomplish critical imperatives.  

You will also:

  • Thoroughly understand the assigned market’s competitors, influencers and audiences  
  • Direct overall brand strategy in the assigned market and align resources to achieve these strategies to grow market, wallet, mind, lead, and loyalty share.  
  • Oversee cross product line strategy planning and coordination to effectively market and sell additional products and services to meet company goals. 
  • Collaborate with peers within marketing, sales, product, and services organizations to ensure alignment on objectives and top-notch execution.  
  • Lead and/or participate in market specific research initiatives to gain and keep up to date on industry trends, competitors, influencers and target markets 
  • Create assets for and help complete monthly and quarterly reporting for the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team meetings, as needed  

Qualifications

  • Five (5+) years of experience in Marketing
  • Prior experience owning lead gen campaign goals and portfolios   
  • Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels 
  • Appetite for innovative technology, fast-changing business environment, data-driven decision-making 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 
  • Proficiency in marketing systems and reporting, including marketing automation, testing, and CRM 
  • Exceptional time management, analytical, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to smoothly collaborate across all levels of the organization 
  • Technical skills: Salesforce; functional understanding of market research concepts and JTBD / ODI methodologies 
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, including stakeholders at all levels 
  • Superb organization and project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at once 
  • High-impact personality: intellectual agility, entrepreneurship, compassion in relationships, great teammate
