We are now looking for a senior Meeting the customer specialist for BA Bedroom, who is up for a challenge. We are looking for you who has experience from of the role or similar roles and like to broaden your knowledge in another Business Area.

Job Description

You will  ensure that the sales related requirements for a successful meeting with the customer are incorporated within the development of a defined business for both NEWs and running range.

Maximize the sales and growth opportunities with the new offer we are developing by acting as an ambassador for the needs of IKEA customers and IKEA retailing in an omni-channel market dimension within the product development process.

Your main work tasks will be: 

  • Responsible to ensure that the sales related requirements for a successful meeting with the customer are incorporated within the development of a defined business for both NEWs and running range
  • Responsible for securing that all easy buying and easy selling requirements are fully understood in the Product Development Team and included in the product development process within a defined range offer.
  • Responsible for leading the product related easy buying and easy selling requirements as a part of the development of Meeting the customer solutions in partnership with the relevant IKEA development units
  • Responsible for securing the product pricing based on the value-based pricing principles
  • Responsible for the communicating the requirements for Retail readiness to all IKEA retailers.
  • Responsible for range and product knowledge content related to easy buying and selling

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have great interest for business and a capability to focus on a defined business area while maintaining a holistic perspective of cross business needs, opportunities and the areas impact on total IKEA. You have a retail background where you have gained good knowledge in the market and competitor landscape of business that you are accountable for. Your knowledge in the year cycle for the sales processes, retail environment and how the offer meets the customer in different touch points is very good.

We also believe that you are;

  • A good team player and have capability to influence stakeholders in order achieve the common goal. 
  • Capability to bring data, information and knowledge to understanding and transform it into insights within the scope of the assignment. 
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
