Job Description

We are looking for a Process Control Specialist capable of training, leading and coaching factory teams on a global basis.

IKEA Industry is since some years rolling out improved Process Control in our factories around the globe. You will support our cross functional factory teams when implementing Process Map (COPIS), FMEA, Control plans and Statistical Process Control. You will be a key player and an ambassador on this change journey.

  •  Are a Process Control expert with several years of experience in implementing and managing successful projects on the shopfloor
  • Have a proven ability to drive improvement activities, delivering savings and develop lean thinking/concept to all levels of the organization to move them into a self-sustaining mode.
  •  Have an educational base at Bachelor level or equivalent.
  •  Have proven leadership skills and are a good communicator with a high drive, perseverance, and analytical skills.
  • Are passionate about IKEA, our vision, business idea and values and you have a constant desire for renewal.
  • Enjoy to work in a constantly changing work environment and with new people

TOGETHER AS A TEAM

The Quality team is a part of Operational Excellence Department at IKEA Industry. The Team’s mission is to support IKEA Industry factories and IKEA suppliers’ factories to continuous improvement by coaching and challenging, using our Process Control concept as base.

You will report to IKEA Industry Quality Manager. You will lead/work closely together with management teams, shop floor personnel and support functions around the world.

ADDITIONAL INFORMAITON

This is a full-time temporary position (14  months) located at IKEA Industry AB in Malmö, Sweden. The position requires international traveling (approx. 75 travel days/year). You need to have good communication skills in written/spoken English.
