OSTC Academy 

The OSTC Academy will give 50 candidates the opportunity to learn from our highly experienced trainers who will take you through the basics of order management, technical analysis, fundamental analysis, risk and all the important trading processes.

Over the 4 weeks, you will be given direct market access to our cutting-edge trading software and the world’s largest trading exchanges, CME and ICE.

This is an exciting opportunity to uncover your potential and see if you have what it takes to analyse the markets. We will expect you to grasp the fundamentals fairly quickly but turning theory into practice will be all that is required from you. The rest we will nurture.

The academy training will be delivered remotely from the comfort of your own home, and at the end of the 4 weeks, the top 25 candidates will be hired to work full-time (remotely) as Junior Financial Market Analysts for OSTC Markets.

Training will be provided by our education partner, ZISHI Cornerstone, to help you grasp the markets and master the knowledge for success.

Who are we looking for?

 At OSTC, we believe that success is not just determined by your academic foundation, it is dependent on your natural skill set, ability and willingness to learn.

The background of our analysts is very eclectic. However, they all have solid numeracy skills, are highly motivated to succeed and are resilient.

Trading on the world's financial markets is not for everyone. It takes a different type of individual. Therefore, we do not require a long list of qualifications, rather we lookout for certain attributes that are important in our candidates, such as:

• The ability to make smart decisions under pressure
• The resilience to get through when learning gets tough
• To be adaptable and open to change
• The discipline to apply yourself
• The determination to succeed
• Numerical reasoning skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Upper-intermediate English skills. 

Equipment you will need for the Academy:

-       PC/Laptop with a headset and camera for Zoom

-       Good internet connection of 20Mbit/s to work effectively

-       A quiet area to work that is free from distraction

Junior Financial Market Analysts will start their full-time roles on Monday 13th June 2022, working remotely with a group of like-minded colleagues in a buddy group that will provide them with a multitude of experienced coaches.
