Job Description

As a Project Manager - Payments, you are responsible for the accelerated execution of Payments product conversions and launches. You will be responsible for managing complex electronic payments conversion projects and for delivering error-free payments configurations to our customers. You will work closely with our Boarding and Applications Team, our software implementation teams, and our Credit and Risk Team to ensure launch commitments are not only met, but also exceeded. 

You will report to the Team Lead, Implementation and Merchant Support.

In your day-to-day, you will also:

  • Manage complex credit card and ACH implementation projects for software customers
  • Provide clear and concise project communication - both written and verbal.
  • Ensure the following:
    • Project methodologies and project delivery processes are strictly followed.
    • Proper system setup and configuration
    • Card brand regulations are followed
    • Processor requirements are followed
    • Custom development requirements are satisfied
    • System integration is aligned to meet customers’ business objectives.
  • Identify potential processing risks and proactively communicate internally and externally
  • Manage escalated issues to provide exceptional merchant experiences
  • ·Overperform through routine analysis of KPIs and ongoing processes improvement
  • Build and promote a positive and collaborative culture across Payments teams
  • Contribute to team documentation, SOPs and creation of best practice documentation
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of processor/vendor products, platforms, and systems
  • Serve as a Daxko Payments products and services expert
  • Follow all organizational compliance policies and standard operating procedures
  • Consistently exceed team weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two (2) years of Customer Service experience
  • One (1) year of experience working with credit card/ACH processing and/or fintech companies
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex financial projects
  • Exceptional customer service skills including patience and empathy, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage customer escalations
  • Consistent exceptional performance versus key performance indicators
  • Demonstrated expertise in Daxko’s payments-related products and services
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • Excellent communicator able to convey complex ideas succinctly
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work as a valued teammate, manage time effectively, prioritize and take initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Bonus points for:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Familiarity with Fiserv Merchant Services and other processing environments
