    Job Description

    The Role:

     

    Looking for a highly creative and performance-oriented Mobile App Marketing Specialist [1-Year Contract] to join our Digital Marketing Team. Growth marketing efforts advance at an incredible pace and we pride ourselves on using the latest digital strategies to deliver ongoing value for the organization. Our team’s core objectives are to drive customer acquisition and sales through the website and apps.

     

    Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, the Mobile App Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in driving growth by managing paid digital marketing programs for a rapidly.

     

    The successful candidate in this role must have mobile app marketing experience along with B2C paid advertising knowledge. A strong background in working with an MMP and Google Analytics is key. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to create and execute effective acquisition strategies, launch new marketing campaigns, build relationships with networks and publishers, and optimize activities for return on investment and cost efficiency.

    They will be responsible for launching, optimizing, and expanding mobile ad campaigns, reporting on performance and communicating results to internal/external partners, assisting in developing an ASO roadmap, working alongside the Digital Marketing team to invest budget efficiently across all channels, and leading testing strategies to constantly move the needle across targets.

    Qualifications

    The Person:

     

    You’re the first to know what’s going on in the worlds of digital and mobile app marketing. You speak a language of acronyms, like CPA, CPI, ASO, ROAS, DSP and SDK. You have broad skills and experience across PPC digital marketing channels, especially for eComm and Apps. You’re motivated to take ownership and grow by expanding new and existing strategies.     You will be responsible for:

    ·       Establishing, executing, and measuring our mobile app paid advertising initiatives to drive conversion and sales across products and services.

    ·       Demonstrating your ability to work at the planning level by generating bold and innovative ideas for growth and at the tactical level by managing advertising campaign execution, creating and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data and solving problems.

    ·       Overseeing and consistently improving tracking, attribution, and analysis of key metrics including CPA, CPS, CPI, CVR, CPC, quality of the traffic by source, and return on investment.

    ·       Building, developing, and managing relationships with top mobile ad networks and publishers.

    ·       Providing complete performance reporting and analysis on all mobile app marketing campaigns and taking relevant actions on insights gained.

    ·       Working with our in-house Product team to collaborate on ASO by assisting, developing, and supporting on the execution of a dedicated roadmap.

    ·       Collaborating closely with technical, business, and support teams to manage timely projects.

    ·       Managing global budgets across multiple countries, campaigns and targets to accurately invest in KPI growth.

    ·       Proactively sourcing new opportunities for expansions across digital media channels to drive customer acquisition.

    ·       Working with our in-house creative team to write insight-driven creative briefs and develop all marketing campaigns and materials.

     

    The Skillset:

     

    Required:

    ·       2+ years in digital marketing with a focus on paid mobile app marketing tied to growth success, specifically using metrics such as CPI, CPA, CPC, CR (preferably eCommerce).

    ·       Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy across PPC channels (including DSP, SSP, DMP and the programmatic ecosystem); with proven track record of optimizing campaigns to improve performance and CPA results along with audience segmentation, targeting, APIs, custom audiences.

    ·       Proficiency in working with mobile app marketing strategies, attribution and MMPs, such as Tune, Branch, Appfigures, AppAnnie & Google Analytics.

    ·       Proven track record of delivering customer acquisition growth, sales, and optimization across key metrics.

    ·       Strong time management skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

    ·       Strong analytical and decision-making skills based on data; the ability to leverage data sources for reporting to provide meaningful insights back to business stakeholders.

    ·       A good understanding of ASO tactics with proof points and apps.

    ·       Intermediate or higher Excel proficiency.

    Nice to Haves:

    ·       Experience working with creative teams to guide and create visual and copy assets.

    ·       Familiarity with SQL, HTML, XML, and general office software. Adobe Creative Suite is desired but not essential.

    ·       Comfortable working with Javascript tags, APIs and mobile SDKs.

    ·       Knowledge of app store optimization (ASO).

    ·       Foreign language skills (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.) or localization experience an asset.

    ·       International marketing efforts are an asset.
